Easter, birthday

This weekend we celebrated Lizzie's 3rd birthday. It is hard to believe she is 3! What a grown up little girl she is! Here she is coloring eggs - she is having too much fun to look at the camera.

Lizzie got these sunglasses for her birthday - one of her favorites, I think!

Aunt Angi came for the party and to meet baby Martin.

All 6 pounds and 2 ounces of him! I should mention he is helping me blog from my lap right now - I am getting faster at the one hand typing!

So excited for her party! She had really been looking forward to having people sing to her!

Here are a few quick shots of new baby Martin. Ryan and I flew to Baton Rouge on Thursday to pick him up and turned right back around to bring him back to Maine in time for Lizzie's birthday (about 22 hours of traveling, but still better than actual child birth, I am guessing). We have a lot more photos to share from the weekend (Lizzie's birthday, Easter, etc) but they seem to be on another camera - I will post them once I get my act together again. Here is Lizzie holding Martin and visiting with Uncle Dan: Lizzie is so good at holding babies with the boppy!

Maeve meets Martin for the first time - she was born in January, so they are only a few months apart, but a few months can make a big difference in size!

April 14

In honor of Spring, Easter, and Grammy D's birthday, we had our annual dinner out with Mom's side of the family this past weekend. We went to Bugaboo Creek this time and had a great time!
Stephanie thought ahead and brought goodie bags for the kids to play with - they are definitely entertained - I couldn't get them to look at the camera - they were to busy with their stickers!

This was Maeve right before dinner - she got to meet some of the cousins for the first time too. She always has a lot of smiles to share.

The weather this past weekend was awesome! After a cold winter, being able to sit on the porch feels great! Lizzie has a great time playing with Maeve. Here she is helping to feed her (notice her hand on the top of the head - so cute).

This is out of order, but I wanted to share Lizzie's hair this week - every so often we leave it in a natural style - it is one of our favorites!

Thumbs up for April! Lizzie and cousin Maeve had a great visit at camp the other day. Both are dressed in their finery for the picture.

This past weekend, Bob and Laura introduced us to a few maple syrup spots on Maine Maple Sunday - what a great day for it!
