End of June

What a busy last few days we have had! Yesterday we had a "Welcome Martin" gathering with a few friends and family at at camp. We had nice weather, good food, and a great time! With no time for a nap for any of us, this is how we spent the last hour of our day (though no pictures of me, you get the idea):

It was warm enough for swimming!

One of the kids caught a fish in the net. This was very exciting for everyone involved!

Kate brought these cupcakes from a bakery in Corinna (pretty and yummy!)

Mimi and Timber came early to help setup (and help hold Martin):

This past Friday, I took the kids to Mimi and Timber's house for a tea party. A nice time was had by all - and we made it back just in time to do our vegetable delivery.

Today

Here are a few photos from today. First, Lizzie is feeding her baby doll (apparently she used to be my baby doll, though I think her hair must have been in better shape at that time).

It is a beautiful day today, so Ryan and Lizzie went swimming at lunch time.

June

I am a little behind in posting - I wrote a nice long blog post last week and then posted it to the wrong blog (Ryan's Parker Produce blog) by mistake (now deleted). This is my first chance to upload a few more. Last weekend we had a small get together with some friends (all adoptive parents). The kids had a great time swimming and playing together! Shannon took some great pics of everyone - these first few are some that she took (there are some great ones of all the kids together, but I will hold off on posting those until I get permission from parents).

We are in the first few weeks of the CSA delivery season. We are finding out summer rhythm, just in time for me to go back to work at the end of June. Meanwhile, we are enjoying our time together whenever we can!
